Happy Saturday! Not much going on here. Dogs and I cleaned out some kitchen cupboards this AM while Pat went to Kiem lumber and to town. Jeremy texted me from the Twins/ Red Sox game. He and Mandi got tickets and seats were 4 rows back in front of home plate. Sun shining..warm...you get the picture....grrrrrrr.
Well, at least it wasn't raining here today as predicted.
The vampire books which the HBO series True Blood was based on just came out on Kindle so guess what I bought and will be reading next??? Yes, I am on a vampire kick. What can I say :)
Washington dinner being planned this week so am looking forward to that. Lunch planned with Linda C. on Monday and have a few more Easter craft things to drop off at S. Lawn.

I stole this graphic from another site. Just too cute I thought. The rain finally hit today.We needed the rain so I guess it is ok.Dogs were not happy to have to go out in the wet but they did so with some coaxing.
I made a cute little bunny paint bucket today to take to Linderlou tomorrow. We are meeting for breakfast in Dover. She is supposed to be on spring break this week but has to work. Of course I had to fill it with her favorite snack...carmel corn.
Pat got an awesome t-shirt from the kids. Jeremy also has him "paid in full" from a loan. Both of them are happy. Mandi reports the apt. is coming along and they are happy.
I HAVE to get my crafting room in some kind of order! Too much junk in that room. It is driving me nuts. I just have to get motivated to trash some stuff.

Spring is finally officially here but it is cold out today in Ohio....20 something...burrr. No sitting ont he deck today. :( I have a massage later and am meeting my friend Patty for lunch. That will certainly brighten the day. Have to make a trip to Wally World as well to pick up a few groceries. I am doing pretty well trying to make just once a month shopping trips. Buying at Sam's also has helped cut down on the trips which means that I am not buying unnecessary items which is a good thing.
Hoping for a nice weekend. Everyone enjoy their days off and take time to relax~

GOODBYE WINTER!!!
Today is the last day of winter. Yeah! I am sure we will have more cold days and maybe even more white stuff before it's all over with but at least we are on the way to warmer days. Pat undid the deck furniture so we are ready to spend time outside. The dogs have already enjoyed the past few days of warmer weather out on the deck. Today it is cooler and rain is in the area.
The cupboards in the workshop are coming along nicely. Pat has the doors all finished, glued and are drying. He will have them up this week. They are just beautiful. I am very proud of his wood working abilities. He can do anything.
On a health note, I am going to try a new perscription for my rosacea. The med I am on is very expensive....like $4 a pill!!! The generic is MUCH cheaper but may have some side effects...mostly stomach discomfort. I am willing to give it a try to save the money.

It is supposed to be a beautiful day here today in Ohio. I am meeting Linda later to go to Z'ville to get our haircut. Then stopping for dinner somewhere.
Dogs are enjoying a time on the deck. Since it is nice out they are able to spend more and more time outside. Brody loves to be outside.

Well, Pat and I made a trip to Z'ville today to get hinges and door pulls for his cabinets. We had lunch at Adornettos and then home. I did make a stop at JoAnn's to get a few craft things. LOL
Mandi and Jeremy are in their new apartment. They called to say that most of the stuff is in place. Peanut is happy with the new apartment so that is a good thing.
Only a few more days until spring will be offically here~not that is not to say that we will have spring weather from now on....it is Ohio after all.
Today is Parker Loomis' birthday. I can just imagine how much fun Granny had. Love ya Chris. Mommy better post some birthday party pictures!!

OK now I am really upset!!! It is currently 77 outside....BEEautiful out. The weather fairy says it will be stormy tonight and tomorrow night it will be down to 23!! 23!!! I can't believe it!
I finished the Twilight series and now am reading "Escape" which is about the FLDS Warren Jess group. Very interesting reading.
Did some crafting today. Diane wants some St. Pat's baggies and I made a little name booklet for a girl who is expecting a baby soon. All turned out very nice.
Jeremy and Mandi move tomorrow....YEAH!!
Off to watch the news and relax....oh, that's right, I do that all day long...LOL!

It was absolutely beautiful here in Ohio today. Temps were in the high 60-70's. Pat worked in the workshop most of the day on his cupboards. They really look nice. I will try to get a pic when they are finished.
Brody and Ali lounged on the deck and each enjoyed a bone this afternoon. I had the whole house fan on and the windows open. WOW was it nice to breathe some fresh air!
I'm on book 4 of the Twilight series. Kinda hate to see it end.....

Ok, now how weird is this? It is 10AM and it is 58 degrees out. Last week it was in the teens! Crazy Ohio weather. I am not going to complain though...nice to have the warm weather.
Jeremy and Mandi have their apartment and will begin moving this next week. They are very excited to move into their own place and begin their life together. Hummmm, maybe a wedding in the near future? I don't know but as long as they are happy and healthy it will happen in time.
Have a massage today, then lunch with Pat. With the warm weather, I plan to come home and sit on the deck with the dogs. I know they will love being outside. It has been a long winter inside for them as well. Think I will take my Kindle out with me...LOL. I have read so much lately!

I had to post this little bear....it has the same headband that little Avie Wright has. Cute cute cute!
Made it out today....cold cold cold. Sent Mandi her birthday gift...it will be late but better late than never. Took me awhile to get it all together and packed and sent. Then got gas, an ice cap at T. Hortons and then to Wally World for a few things.
Spent the afternoon catching up on my recorded shows...isn't Brothers and Sisters getting interesting. Also like CSI Miami's latest show. Eric and Calee~some pair.
Did order and get book 3 of the Twilight series and started it tonight. Guess I can see why the movie was such a hit. Course I like vampire stories so....
Supposed to be warmer tomorrow so maybe spring is on the way???? I CERTAINLY HOPE SO!!

Yes, it is 2:36 AM and I am awake. Dogs have had a few restless nights...don't know what that is all about but I am fed up with it! I finished my first Kindle book and ordered the next in the Twilight series. My son would be soooo proud of me. LOL As I am reading and updating my blog, I have Cadyshack on the TV. Love that dang little gopher guy. "I'm alright, don't nobody worry 'bout me"
Plan to spend the rest of the day doing laundry if I can get away from my Kindle. LOL
Pat has created a monster.... all I want to do is read now. He said tonight that I definitely have turned into my mother...
Cold has set in for the week :( I am looking forward to spring and warmer weather.
